Circular cycle path to the Zajamniki mountain

Circular route: Goreljek – Zajmniki mountain – Uskovnica – Rudno polje – Zajavorniki mountain – Goreljek (possibility of renting a bicycle in Hotel Pokljuka). On the way, don’t miss the energy points on Praprotnica and, of course, the exceptional view from mountain Zajamniki.

From Hotel Pokljuka you go through the settlement of Goreljek towards Bohinj, when the road starts to descend into the valley after less than a kilometer, turn right onto the marked side macadam road, continue along this path for less than 7 kilometers to the mountain Zajamniki. Along the way, you have picturesque views of the lower villages. You also drive past the Konjska dolina mountain with many charming cabins, which today serve as weekends. When you see a mountain settlement lined up on the left, you will know that you have reached the Zajamniki mountain, from where you have beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Bohinj. Take some time and enjoy the unique and picturesque mountain village, turn to Mos for sour milk or some other delicacy, before continuing towards Praprotnica, Uskovnica, Rudno polje, Zajavorniki mountainand back towards Hotel Pokljuka.
