From a biological and ecological point of view, however, they are fascinating and unique. Peat bogs  are constantly growing, and plants thrive on them that are not found anywhere else. The most important are different types of peat mosses, but we can also see small carnivorous sundew flowers and different mosses.<br \/>\nThe bogs on Pokljuka are the southernmost bogs in Europe that are still preserved. A visit to the peat bog Goreljek educational trail will explain many interesting things that you may not have known yet.
